The Peppermill is turned of Wenge, a very dense, medium textured, dark hardwood from Central West Africa. The Salt mill is turned of bird's eye maple with naturally occurring grain anomaly, primarily found in hard sugar maple trees (Acer saccharum) from the Great Lakes region. Known for its creamy-white color and shimmering "eyes”.

Easy fill, just unscrew the bottom of the mill.
